Blue Arrow Glasgow have a fantastic opportunity for a target driven Account Manager to join our large logistics client based in North Lanarkshire.

We are looking for someone that is process driven and can manage a portfolio of 250 customer accounts.

My client is looking for someone who has previous sales or account management experience and fantastic administration skills with good attention to detail.

Job role includes:

  • Maintain a customer schedule and speak to key accounts at specific times of the year
  • Follow a process map with regards to contact with customers ensuring all SOP's are followed
  • Monitor customer experience for a portfolio of customers, ensuring SLA's are followed
  • To liaise with implementation teams, sales and operations colleagues to ensure a coordinated and consistent support for customers queries
  • Review performance to contracts
  • Make recommendations for service delivery improvements or new service offerings
  • Provide customers with regular reports in agreed timescales and where appropriate investigate and report any shortfall/discrepancies
  • Provide accurate and timely internal reports (e.g. activity, forecasts), both regular and ad-hoc
  • Provide administrative support to contracts outside defined portfolio base, as required.
  • Effectively utilize the relevant software (e.g. CRM systems) to maintain accurate and up to date records; provide related reports as required

Person Spec:

  • Sales focused with excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to adapt communication style to audience.
  • Able to prioritise and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
  • Ability to effectively conduct business over the phone.
  • Able to understand and empathise with customer needs whilst balancing their needs with that of Company.

Our client is looking to develop someone throughout the Account Management role which in turn would lead to a field sales role when the correct experience and behaviours are shown.
