Waiters and bartenders served a boost to their salaries this April

Despite the fact that 2017 is proving to be a turbulent year both financially and politically for the UK, waiters and bartenders have enjoyed a significant rise to their salaries this month. With an 11.7% increase from £16,048 to £17,922, these roles are continuing to strengthen their position in the industry with each month that passes.

Blue Arrow raises over £64,000 for Cancer Research UK

On Tuesday 25th April representatives from Blue Arrow Group’s Employee Council were invited to visit Cancer Research UK’s Barts Centre in London following two years of fundraising. The team were delighted to reveal the company had smashed their original £60,000 target, presenting CRUK with a cheque for £64,322.25 on behalf of all their colleagues, candidates and clients.

The specialist staffing agency’s latest sector trends report revealed the impact of this has been a boost from £26,254 to £27,886 per annum, the most significant rise to occur across all four featured sectors this month.
