I am currently recruiting for a welsh speaker with previous administrative experience. I have an exciting opportunity for a Welsh Speaker in Cardiff to operate a switchboard for an established company.
I am looking for a well-organised, enthusiastic individual to provide excellent customer service both face to face and via the telephone.

The right candidate must speak fluent Welsh and have prior administration experience.

The requirement for an experienced Receptionist is on a temporary basis, initially for 1 month, but potentially ongoing.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is essential for this post so please include details in your application.

Start date: As soon as possible
Location: Llandaff
The position will consist of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Pay rate: £8.25 per hour

As Receptionist, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Answering the telephone bilingually and diverting calls as appropriate
  • Searching and recording accurate information
  • Providing a front-line service of information
  • Taking and logging service request calls
  • Meeting and greeting members of the public and other professionals
  • General administrative support
To be considered for the role of Receptionist, you MUST be able to demonstrate:
  • Fluency in both Welsh and English
  • A professional telephone manner
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • The ability to absorb complex information
  • Excellent IT skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team as well as on own initiative
