Junior Sous Chef - Monday to Friday

A well-known company is currently recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the smooth running of the catering services, functions and providing outstanding results. You will work Monday to Friday on a straight shift bases.


Your main responsibilities as Junior Sous Chef will include:
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting food in line with required standards
  • Ensuring the quality and portion size of the food meets the correct standards
  • Ensuring the food is served in the right manner
  • To comply with relevant health and safety guidelines
  • Stock control

Junior Sous Chef experience:
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required
  • Creativity and keen interest in food and cooking
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate will be advantageous

The reward:
  • A salary of £20,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday only, all evenings off.
