We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dynamic Head chef for a new opening in Chelmsford opening in December 2016.

The Role:

- To Lead the team and provide an excellent standard of food to every customer
- Train and develop the team to an excellent standard and ensure they perform all duties
- Planning, Organising, and Monitoring the workload and productivity of the team and promoting excellent team work.
- Liaising with the Front of House Manager on a daily and weekly basis
- Ensure the kitchen is complaint at all times in relation to Health and Safety, Food Safety and relevant legislation

The Candidate:

- Previous experience at Sous or Head Chef level within Hotels and/or Restaurants
- Hold excellent leadership skills, including ability to train and develop
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be passionate, ambitious and have a love for cooking to high standards
- Holder of a Food Safety Level 2 and Health and Safety Level 2
