Night Manager - Peterborough


To be totally customer focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach. To manage the professional night operation in the hotel, ensuring customers are delighted with the hotel service whilst ensuring all operations are carried out in accordance with company procedures.


- To manage the consistent delivery of superior customer service through the Customer Service Programme.
- To evaluate and act on Customer Service Reports to achieve positive and consistent results.
- To take accountability for the total hotel operation during the night time.
- To take responsibility for the security of the hotel at night following hotel and company security procedures at all times.
- To ensure all night audit functions are carried out smoothly and efficiently as per company standard.
- To ensure all Front of House public areas are cleaned, creating a professional impression to customers and employees.
- To make decisions on when to close Residents' bar and then operate Night Porters bar.
- Be aware of all hotel cash and credit procedures and ensure all till readings balance and are paid in.

Skills Needed:

- Good general education
- Numerical skills
- Previous supervisory experience
- Cash handling experience
- Committed to working Night time hours
- Experience leading a small team
- Initiative, self-motivated
- Calm under pressure
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Attention to detail
