Administrator (Projects)


We have a requirement for a temporary contract of 3 to 5 months, 2-3 days per week for someone to assist our client in their Bath office with a project administration role.

Job Details
  • Hourly Rate £12.82
  • Office based in Bath City Centre (They have parking facilities, cycle facilities, 15 minute walk to/from Bath Spa rail station)
  • The role is currently 1-2 days per week, but as projects progress, the workload will increase to 2-3 days per week.
  • Working hours are 0900-1730, with 1 hour for lunch.
  • They are flexible on which days are worked, but would require consistency once the preferred days are agreed.
  • They are flexible on the working hours and can accommodate an adjustment if needed to start or finish time, provided the core 7.5 hour day is completed.

The role is;

  • The role is the administration of 23 construction projects which are about to be delivered across the Bristol, North Somerset and South Glos area.

  • The role is to use both the Companies and their clients IT systems to update word and excel report documents, transfer and manage files for each project on both our and our clients IT networks (we work on files here on our system, then once complete transfer or copy the completed files onto our client IT system).

  • Coordinate regularly with the technical staff to receive project updates or amendments to information.

  • To compile specific work or excel based report documents on behalf of the client, when requested - and with guidance from the technical team

Role requirements;

  • This is a client facing role. Good interpersonal skills are key.

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Prior experience of a technical admin role would be a significant advantage, as would some construction project knowledge as this will help in the understanding and delivery of the work content

  • A good eye for detail , accuracy of output work and consistency is required

  • Fluent in the use of Microsoft office suite of software, particularly outlook, word and excel

  • Use of Microsoft project would be an advantage
