We are currently recruiting for a full time second chef with an immediate start.
37.5 hours per week working straight shifts on a 5 in 7 rota system.
This will be starting on a 6 month contract with the possibility of leading to a permanent contract.

The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years experience in a conferencing and banqueting background. Ideal role for a junior second chef looking for progression in their career.

You will work closely with the Head chef and run the kitchen in his absence.


The successful candidate must have 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent of diploma in hotel and catering studies.

Must have general knowledge of health and safety

Have Minimum 3 years proven background in conference and banqueting catering

Be able to cope well under pressure

Be able to follow the food safety management system in place

Be a good team player

Driving license is essential


The successful candidate will also receive excellent rates of pay

2 days off a week

The opportunity of a full term contract after 6 months with a pension and medical insurance.
