A vacancy has arisen within the Finance organisation of our client, for the position of CDT Controller. Reporting to the Production Controlling Manager, the successful candidate will support full and accurate visibility of the Business Operations in the short, mid and long-term, perform assessment of all risks and opportunities related to current and next 2 years on RC and NRC costs, and ensure the follow-up of corrective measures defined to achieve business targets.

Tasks & Accountabilities

The main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Establish the top-down target costs for the area of scope, consistent with the programme cascaded RC targets.

  • Challenge bottom-up planning to match cascaded targets.

  • Preparation and submission of 3 year AOP, and cascade of annual budget.

  • Provide robust forecasting of RC costs against Programme CoS targets.

  • Ensure monitoring and reporting of process and Programme analysis of RC Unit Costs (Labour/Overheads), as well as inventory and Capex.

  • Identify and assess Operations Risks and Opportunities in co-ordination with the Head of Operations. This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Finance or Controlling, or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrated operational controlling experience and strong analytical and communication skills. A working knowledge of controlling and cost accounting processes.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

  • An advanced user of MS Excel.

  • Basic SAP.

  • Experience of business partnering and direct functional support - working with the business outside of the finance organisation.

  • English language at negotiation level, other languages would be a plus.

You will be working a 35 hour week at a rate of £21.09ph PAYE or £27ph Ltd Company.
