Blue Arrow is currently seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join a 4* star luxury hotel and spa situated in the Sidmouth area. For the successful applicant this highly reputable employer will be offering an immediate start, full time permanent contract, live in accommodation available if required and an attractive salary package!

As a Pastry Chef you will be responsible for -

-To cook and prepare classic pastry with a new twist
-Responsible for creating and developing new ideas for the exclusive restaurant menu
-To ensure presentation of pastry is to a high standard at all times
-Stock control/rotation and waste management within the pastry section
-To provide coaching and guidance to all new team members within your section

To Apply -

-Commutable distance to Sidmouth
-Minimum 3 years proven experience within a similar role
-City & Guilds diploma in professional cookery or BTEC HND in professional cookery or equivalent
-A passion for cooking pastry, great attention to detail and leadership skills
-Good organisation and ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment

This is a great opportunity for a Pastry Chef who is looking to take the next step in their career, you will be given the freedom to create and develop your own ideas, whilst working closely with the Head and Sous Chef to develop existing menus for lunch, dinner and afternoon tea service.

In return this fantastic employer will be offering live in accommodation for just under £50 per week, a great deal of progression, the opportunity to complete further NVQ training if desired, pension scheme, uniform provided, meals on duty, 28 days annual leave and discounted accommodation within the hotel group. Working hours; 5/7 days per week including weekends, 48 hour contract, split shifts included from 11:00-17:00 / 18:00-22:00.
