HR Advisor

We are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join a team in Gateshead managing over 200 members of staff.

You will be working closely with the leadership teams and support on activities from recruitment, HR admin, training, disciplinary / grievance, capability, absence management, policy and procedures.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience within an HR environment.

  • Be CIPD qualified or equivalent.

  • Have working knowledge of UK employment law.

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and customer facing skills.

  • Have a methodical and organised approach to problem-solving.

  • Have accuracy and attention to detail when completing tasks.

  • Be a confident, diplomatic HR Officer who can stay calm under pressure.

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Be at an advanced level of IT literacy on Excel, word, mail merge, Outlook.

  • Have high levels of confidentiality, integrity and discretion.
