Credit Control Clerk

Our client based in Sittingbourne, is looking for a credit control clerk to join their successful insurance company. The role is based over 35 hours per week £15,250 pa / £8.38ph

The purpose of the successful applicants job will be to manage relationships with a number of brokers in order to maintain cash flow and reduce over due debts.

Accountability's and Main Responsibilities for Job:
Liaise in a professional manner with external and internal customers using the most appropriate medium, e.g. telephone, email, letters etc.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with all customers.
- Follow procedures and guidelines to ensure client's service standards are met in accordance with SLA.
- Adheres to quality standards including accurate data entry.
- Ensure effective use of internal technology.
- Manage and prioritise own workload.
- Operates within own area of accountability, escalating issues and seeking guidance when required.
- Analyse and interpret information including policies and statements.
- Provide support, mentoring and guidance if applicable.
- Maintain and develop own technical knowledge and expertise.
- Commit to own personal development.

Job Related Experience, Qualifications and Skills:

Good communication skills

- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to perform tasks without supervision
- Confident for IT skills

My client is looking for someone who can liaise with Brokers and Underwriters by telephone and email and maintain policy premium. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a collection of accounts and will be supported by a team of 10 other credit controllers.

This role will be based on a full time basis . The client is looking for somebody who can start ASAP!
