The Role:

Our client is a unique and luxury 4* Hotel based on the outskirts of Chichester. They are looking for a dynamic, 'hands on' Bar & Restaurant Assistant Manager to make the Bar and Restaurant a modern bar and dining experience. They are looking for a proactive person who has a genuine passion for hospitality and good service. The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with some experience of running fast paced restaurants. The successful candidate will work 5/7 days a week, to include evenings and weekends.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist and deputise in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
  • Train, motivate and help manage the team
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with customers
  • Deal with requests, enquires and complaints effectively
  • Assist to manage stock and cost control

Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced restaurant at an assistant manager level
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry
  • Good knowledge of food, wines and spirits
  • Positive and friendly with a 'can do' attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills
