An exciting opportunity has risen for an experienced Sous Chef to join an independent run 1 Rosette Boutique Pub/Restaurant in the Stockbridge Area. Based on 5 out of 7 days with a fantastic starting salary. With view of possible progression and a direction of obtaining a 2nd Rosette this could be a fantastic opportunity to pursue your career.

Your main responsibilities as a Sous Chef will include:

  • To ensure the food preparation and presentation meets the required rosette standards

  • To supervise and motivate the team to achieve the set objectives

  • To comply with health and safety and food safety legislations

  • To keep all working areas clean and tidy

  • To monitor portion control, fresh food and dry store orders

What you need to get the job as a Sous Chef:

  • The experience to deliver consistently excellent food in a busy restaurant.
  • An appetite for business.
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 or Equivalent an advantage
  • Experience at 1 or 2 Rosettes is beneficial but not essential.
  • A genuine love of food and cooking.
