Quality Systems Coordinator

This position requires you to work monday- Friday 7.30am-4.30pm based at Rocester (ST14 5JP) rate of pay £9.60 per hour going up to £9.85 after 12 working weeks, overtime payed at time and half.

The position will have a large focus on quality systems and data analysis and requires an individual who is highly literate, process driven and logically minded. You will also need a good level of IT skills especially in MS Word and Excel. We are seeking an individual who is a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, who has an analytical and problem solving approach as well as a strong attention to detail. You will also need to be a self-motivated team player who can build credibility quickly. Quality Management System and auditor experience would be highly desirable, with particular knowledge of ISO9001, however training can be provided.

what is involved within this position?

  • you will be reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, this is a key role with responsibility for the maintenance and improvement of the business unit's quality procedures, standards and systems. The job of Quality Systems Coordinator will involve:
  • Managing the identification, achievement and maintenance of external accreditations throughout the business such as ISO9001
  • Amending, updating and implementing procedures required for the improvement of the management system
  • Maintaining and implementing internal audit schedules and carrying out internal audits to find areas of improvement
  • Producing and managing detailed KPIs for quality standards and factory performance
  • Audit report writing
  • Working with all departments to ensure quality standards are achieved and providing pro-active solutions
  • travelling to various sites when required.
