9 March 2009
Being a “Best Company” is about excelling in every area throughout the workplace and a company’s commitment to its most important asset - its staff.
Blue Arrow Ltd, a UK leading provider of staffing solutions, has been awarded the Best Companies elite “Michelin style’ rating accreditation for demonstrating high levels of employee engagement. Not only has Blue Arrow Ltd been presented with a ‘two star’ status for being outstanding but they also came 59th in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to work for list.
”We are delighted to have achieved both these accolades from Best Companies” commented Jill Thornton, HR Director of Blue Arrow. “Over the last year we have worked extremely hard to understand what we do well as an employer and also how we could still make improvements. We have received high levels of positive feedback from our employees and look forward to building on our success and commitment to constantly strive for improvement".
Jonathan Austin, Founder and CEO of Best Companies added to this by saying, “I would like to congratulate Blue Arrow Ltd on their outstanding achievement. Our role at Best Companies is to set a rigorous benchmark so that organisations can become even better employers. This year it is encouraging to see that the number of companies entering the accreditation scheme for excellence in workplace engagement has grown by over twenty percent."
